The client’s project required extending the application with advanced tools enabling the execution of an energy design. The ability to plan electrical networks and predict the demand for electricity in a given area was a priority for us.
The main element of the application is a map with a number of advanced tools that allow to make a design of power grid – new or based on the existing infrastructure. Another important element is the possibility of conducting a simulation that will show the real impact of these changes on the existing network and the costs related to their introduction, e.g. the cost of purchasing transformers, meters, switches, etc.
