As a Java developer at Edge1S, you can work on projects for leaders from many industries such as E-commerce, Banking, Technology, IT, Healthcare, Insurance.
You program in Java 8+ versions on daily basis, but there is also a possibility to work with Kotlin or in Cloud Solutions.
In most of them, you will find microservice architecture and technologies such as Spring Framework, Hibernate, Maven, Kafka, Docker …
You will be responsible for the application development or even for the entire product. It also means keeping it always running smoothly and efficiently. And if there is a bug that escapes the automated tests, it will have to be fixed.
We run projects in an Agile way. Besides work, you will also so have the opportunity to share your knowledge on Edge1Stalks or conduct recruitment interviews.
We are not a Corp; therefore, every employee’s voice is important for us.
Brendan Eich created JavaScript in just 10 days. Over the next years, numerous modifications were made to achieve compliance with the IS0 / IEC 16262 standard.
Currently, there are 26 Frontend Developers hired in Edge1S.
People Development Programme
Individual employee development program. With the support of his/her supervisor, the employee decides in which direction he/she wants to develop and in what way he/she will achieve this. As part of the PDP, employees have the opportunity to take advantage of, among others, trainings, certifications, conferences or professional literature.
Micro-Trainings, #Edge1talks
Short training sessions/meetings led by Edge1S professionals in various fields. Employees share technical knowledge, but also have the opportunity to talk about their passions. This initiative gives on one hand the opportunity to expand knowledge, and on the other – to try their hand as a speaker.
English lessons
Classes are free for Edge1S employees and are held once a week in groups of 2-4 people. They are taught by two of our in-house instructors.

1. Interview with talent aquisition coordinator,
who will introduce the company, the benefits of cooperation as well as potential projects. In this step we want to get to know you as well as possible, so we will ask you a few questions about your experience, motivation and preferences.
2. Technical check
An interview with a technical recruiter who will verify your knowledge and skills. Technical interviews are conducted by experienced specialists who work on our projects every day.
3. Project interview
At this stage we check your fit with the team and for project requirements. Soft skills will also be assessed.
